ITs a RETRO Party. so people, please do try and come according to the theme.
ok, now that the invitations are out. i need help from all you out there. i've thought of retro, just on the spur of moment. and now that its confirmed and i've told everyone, i am at a lost of wat else is needed at a theme party?
1)music. music lovers please help me to look out for music. and if possible help me compile them into cds. thanks a lot. and let me know who's helping me with this.
2)decorations. i need help on that day itself to doll up the place. please pass me your names.
3) ideas to make the party more fun. been to some parties and they're rather like tat only. in the sense that all very scattered. and people go just to eat and talk to friends. which is the truth. hee. if i wanna do some games but it can't possibly involve everyone. so i am thinking, and i dont mind if the joke is on me. but don't go overboard hor!
4) this goes to all. be as retro as possible! at least with something in common its easier to get something going. can even have some crazy retro games like..... don't know la. am i being too ambitious here? but anyway if really can't think of anything then we'll just leave it be. dinner, cake, talk, photos, talk, eat, drink....
5) who's staying over? who's coming earlier to help? who's interested in which area? clara is interested to help me do pedicure the day before. is it confirmed? then i also need medicure liao. haha. now everyting feels so...hmmm.. like i'm gettting married, so grand......... huh... ohoh. ambitious sia
6)my wish list was very much requested by many. but i can only say that what i have is very limited. i tried to look for things. especially today. but it seems the more i looking for it the more i can;t find it. but heres what i have in mind so far.
a) an artist hat. no idea what its like, can have a look at the ones in bugis junction 1st level accessories i think. but those there are very expensive, 41 bucks for the hat is not really worthwhile la. but anyway the ones i refering to are those furry ones that comes in - black, pink, beige.
b) mobile phone MMC, 256MB or 512MB for my mobile phone.nokia6230i
c) really really nice books or authors for me to collect.
d) nelson chia's autograph. even better get him to come. or get him to take a photo with me.
e) i'm actually currently addicted to Sound of Musics cartoon. it reminded me of the actual musical. really loved the musicals, that time they have "anna and the king","sound of music", theres another one i think its called "anne of green cables" forgot liao hehe.. i've watched the show twice liao and i still miss it. i know that the VCDs (i refering to the actual muscial hor, not the cartoons) are on sales. but not really sure where. POh kim or TS? or those neighbourhood places?
f) jacket. hmmm. so far my jackets you've all seen before liao. i was thnking something tats more classy? fashionable? hmmm... nicer... recently they have those really nice jackets right? i went to bugis street in search of tat one tat suits me but can't find. i realised i can't go for the long sleeves one. i don't look nice. but the short sleeves design are not bad. just tat yeah, all are miniature.
so far like this lo. its still the same list i gave some of you right? sorry can't think of anything that's big enough for a big group to share. the above mentioned are not according to my preferences. and if you've realised, they're all under the catergory of "wants" not "needs". i'm stil in search of those. oh, an after thought, which might not be a bad idea - clothes voucher if you all intend to get clothes for me. cause i need to try them, especially for my size hard to get. i don't mind dorothy perkins voucher. no fox please. i sort of not into it for some time liao in case anyone's missed tat part.
ok, there you go. i tried to be as detailed as possible liao.
anyway i think as my close friends you all should know tat i really really enjoy surprises.... hee...
oh, as to which group of friends gonna get wat. i seriously have no idea how to coordinate. you all can get back to me. i tick off. or you all can just tick off here on this blog. but seriously la. only a small small group visits here and majority are from the same "gang" haha........
like i told priscilla, at the end of the day. i don't mind you all come in jeans or wat. (actually i mind, a little bit la) i know you've all tried your best.
i'm inviting many to come, but i expect only those that matters to me to really turn up - u!!!
